Simon Rosenburg received an email this morning from “postcards to swing states” . They are pausing sign-up for the moment because of the overwhelming number of volunteers who have reached out and they need to catch up. In the last two weeks alone over 19,000 volunteers have requested 5.5 million postcards. In early August, they will resume taking orders with a goal of 29 million postcards to be sent out. They are just one group. Donald Trump just shot MAGA in the foot by picking Vance. Trump continues to crumble and stumble in his actions as well as his words. Parsing every sentence of Joe Biden's looking for mistakes does us no good. Time to solidify our support behind him and set aside this discursiveness.
Will the media and pundits and aging rich white mega donors who are sure they know better than everyone else that Biden is too old to win ever stop? Inquiring minds want to know. The rest of us are working hard out here and would like to know when they’ll stop tearing us all apart. I’m bored to death with this.
It would help with young voters, Sunshine Movement, Latino voters, Black voters, students etc. if Biden would end his support for Israel's war on Gaza.
I don't agree with your evaluation of esp. young people (and the categories I mentioned; but those alienated from Biden number in the hundreds of thousands. Organizations (Sunrise, Latino, etc.) that would ordinarily support anybody=but-Trump report difficulty in recruiting members to work on Biden's campaign. Presumably SOMEBODY in Biden's inner circle understands that he is paying a price (young voters) for his support for Israel's war. By accepting this price he is adding to the likelihood that he will lose in NOvember.
Tell u what: when Biden accepts the losing reality he is in, plse remember to let me know. Now that Jeffries and Schumer have stepped out, Biden will be out over the weekend. OR… he is so out of it he thinks ge can soldier on witbout the support of his own party. Historic!
I agree that, for whatever reasons, he is so tightly aligned with Israel that it is unimaginable that he would cut off the blank check, etc. Sadly there is little/no support for ending the war among the Dem Party leadership. We are in the soup.

It's great that there's all that volunteer energy, but it will be there either way.
